Open Standards-based Platform
Surveillint offers an open, flexible platform to service any security environment, and delivers commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) integration. Designed using Microsoft .NET and service-oriented architecture (SOA), the platform can scale to support thousands of sensors, and can flexibly support any type of security system. Surveillint captures information from the myriad of security systems, then converts this information into the Common Information Format to be consumed by the Business Logic Manager. Bi-Directional Communication
Proximex Surveillint not only receives real-time data from security systems, but also automatically synchronizes alarm updates and issues operational commands to security sub-systems, ensuring efficient incident workflow and management. Proximex is constantly updating its library of Integration Modules – integrations with different systems and sensors – that vary from core security technologies such as physical access control, video, and intrusion detection systems. These modules also extend to advanced security systems (e.g., video analytics, radar systems, sonar systems, CBRNE); communication systems (e.g., two-way radio, mass notification, intercom, and digital signage); and IT systems (e.g., network alarms, logical identity, LDAP Active Directory). Proximex offers an open SDK that can be leveraged to integrate additional systems into Surveillint. This also provides a standard way to send information to different systems such as communications systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, notification systems, etc. The Proximex SDK offers more extensibility with open, standards-based protocols for the creation of sophisticated security applications that integrate with a wide variety of systems and devices. The open architecture of the Proximex SDK makes it easy to integrate with a customer's environment, whether simple or complex. This openness allows partners to better serve their customers' individual needs by being able to integrate with the security system or device of choice. It doesn't matter if the individual solutions are new or already installed at the customer's location, the Proximex SDK is flexible enough to work with virtually any security solution. - Create simple event applications to enable alarms and sensors to be displayed in the Surveillint system
