The easy to deploy solution from Proximex enables operational control of a multi-vendor security environment with a single user interface
WESTFORD, MA. March 24, 2015 –– Proximex, part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco, the world’s largest pure-play fire protection and security company, announced the newest release of its Surveillint Essentials solution, which delivers fast and easy security integration deployment for improved efficiency and response.
Surveillint Essentials consolidates operational control of multiple security systems into a single graphical user interface. Operators can manage alarms generated by connected systems, view the locations of alarms on maps, click camera icons to see live and recorded video, and send commands directly to connected systems through the intuitive user interface.
“Surveillint Essentials is an excellent option for small to mid-sized environments that don’t require the full functionality of our enterprise Surveillint Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solution,” said Michael Mesaros, Group Product Manager, Proximex, part of Tyco Security Products. “With a more robust feature set, this latest release enables control room operators to quickly assess incidents and follow custom response protocols based on their location or organization’s standard operating procedures, which are critical to effective incident response.”
Surveillint Essentials’ video console enables operators to access multiple live camera views and automated guard tours, and take action on connected systems from multiple vendors, such as cameras, intercoms or security doors. The optional patented E-Z Track video pursuit module lets users quickly locate and track subjects across cameras and video without having to search for cameras or remember specific camera placements.
Surveillint Essentials can be installed in just minutes, using a very intuitive configuration wizard and visual designer.
